Rossum and Celonis Announce Partnership to Speed Up Workflow Automation
Rossum, the industry leader in execution management and a leader in cloud-native Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), recently announced a partnership with Celonis.
The Execution Management System (EMS) platform from Celonis will incorporate Rossum’s AI-enabled document extraction, capture, and classification capabilities. Celonis can offer clients enhanced process intelligence functions due to this connection. Customers will be able to discover and decrease invoice problems efficiently.
As businesses strive to keep up with the increasing number of invoices, payments for duplicate invoices are made. This is a significant cost center for corporations, according to Goldman Sachs. Automating accounts payable may save 70–80% of the time, making document processing essential to a company’s profitability.
Rossum’s IDP technology intelligently detects, flags, and eliminates duplicate or incorrect customer invoices. All this is done while ingesting, processing, and classifying unstructured data within the Celonis EMS. This will guarantee correctness in invoice processing and eliminate the need for labor-intensive, expensive, and error-prone human interaction.
“Rossum brings a unique set of capabilities to document processing that will help our shared clients to improve duplicate invoice detection, boost operational efficiency, and save money while accelerating workflow automation projects. “We will collaborate with Rossum on technology developments while supporting joint go-to-market efforts,” says Ke Zhang, Senior Director, Partner Innovation at Celonis.
Operating above underlying software systems, Celonis EMS is powered by industry-leading process mining technology. It “X-rays” processes using real-time data from business systems, computers, gadgets, and other sources. Celonis uses intelligence to analyze this data to determine the underlying causes of process issues. It further estimates their effects on the business and validates the quickest route to a solution. This starts real-time automatic activities that enhance process performance and address inefficiencies. Consequently, organizations have a new, cutting-edge strategy for relying on intelligent processes to operate their operations.
“We share a common vision with Celonis. Our aim is to disrupt and transform the way businesses operate through intelligent automation. We get our clients to focus on the essential, mission-critical tasks of running a business while automating the mundane. This goes beyond saving time and allocating resources. We are driving a lasting and fundamental change in how a business operates,” says Tomas Gogar, CEO of Rossum.
