VMware combines testing and automation to improve quality and efficiency with UiPath Test Suite
VMware has announced the integration of its automation and testing solutions using UiPath Test Suite to help accelerate the delivery of quality products. The move will help customers reduce the time needed to identify and fix issues while also allowing them to quickly and efficiently deploy new products.
The new integration combines VMware’s automation and testing capabilities to provide customers with a comprehensive, end-to-end solution. This new offering will enable VMware customers to rapidly identify and remediate issues while increasing the speed and accuracy of product development.
VMware’s automation solution enables customers to execute tests more quickly and accurately by automatically generating test cases based on their application. This helps them to quickly identify, diagnose and resolve issues while also providing insights into the root cause of the problem.
The testing solution allows customers to quickly and accurately validate the functionality of their applications, ensuring that the product is ready for deployment. This helps customers reduce the time needed to validate and test applications while also ensuring that the product meets the quality standards expected by customers.
To accomplish its RPA testing goals, VMware teamed up with renowned management consulting firm Auxis. For around 400 RPA workflow projects, VMware and Auxis created a Jenkins CI/CD pipeline, a plug-in for distributing new software versions.
They concentrated on working in harmony with the VMware IT teams and ensuring they had access to lower-level environments to test continually. VMware automates manual processes to create a fully deployed automated environment by utilizing Jenkins, GitLab, and UiPath Test Suite.
Additionally, VMware used the UiPath Test Suite as a foundation for quicker deployment and improved production quality. Their RPA activities are now more effective thanks to this architecture.
VMware’s error rates have decreased by 96% after deploying automated testing and a CI/CD pipeline. They have also been able to swiftly identify release statuses and fix bugs thanks to UiPath Test Suite, which the UiPath Platform powers. A 15% improvement in manufacturing speed has been made possible by these advantages.
The VMware Intelligent Automation team will use the UiPath Business Automation Platform’s UiPath Apps and UiPath Task Mining to improve their automation capabilities further.
